I was very inspired by so many Artists, from around the world coming together to do the DABL (Don't Avoid Bright Lights) collection. Unfortunately I wasn't able to partake because the X TL algo didn't feed me the proper feed to notify me of such endeavors. Thus, I have taken it into my own hands and have produced my own rendition of DABL for all the DABL Artists. Doing art for fellow artists.
The Design
Based on a skull I painted on my guitar in 2012. Mainly the argyle triangle patterns and eye sockets. I then uploaded a photo of it to ChatGPT to help fill in the acoustic hole, and design a python script, vibe code, my first ever script, and animation. It slowly evolved into this Tiffany-esq lamp idea.

I started this project right after finishing my last inscription project, Uncle Adam, 39f34f6a59eabb14bab112ae3675e95954e79e6e621d8ca42dbe0176585d6935i0 It took a bloody long time. Like avg. 6hrs/day in 18hr days. I worked on it almost everyday, when I wasn't caring for or reading to my father who is in hospice.

A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
Made famous by JFK's 1963 speech, whose speech writer got it from the official slogan of the New England Council (1950). Even earlier use of the aphorism was found in a January 1910 when Boston Evening Transcript used the phrase in the context of Christian missionary fundraising. It used the phrase in response to concerns about sending money abroad instead of supporting local causes -- implying that spiritual and financial support for global missions would ultimately benefit all, including domestic efforts. Additionally, the phrase was used in a 1915 Greensboro Daily News article, on the subject of the Christian Endeavor society, saying that the collective religious and social improvement would uplift all members of the community. On the other hand people likely said the phrase in unpublished contexts for a bloody long time.

Last Words
Best laid plains...A few typos and human errors. I inscribed five more than intended, 2 of which are duplicates. I like "Rota Fortunae" more than "Cardio." I used the term Cardio, because that's how I was able to get ChatGPT to create borders that weren't perfectly linear and blended the color panels.
Rota Fortunae
The earliest known concepts of 'cyclical fate' dates back to ancient Greece, from the poet Pindar, 518–438 BC. Both Greece and Rome have Goddesses of chance/fate/fortune, Tyche and Fortuna, repsectively. The first explicit use of the phrase 'rotam fortunae' is in Cicero's In Pisonem, 55 BC. Cicero gave Fortuna a wheel she controls. Although the concept and usuage of 'changing fortune' continued, It took 400 years (523AD) for 'Fortuna's Wheel' to appear again in published context, Boethius's Consolation of Philosophy. The earliest surviving visual depiction of 'Fortuna's Wheel' appear in Carmina Burana (1230AD).
